FORT WAYNE, HUNTINGTON, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - 74 salaried employees of Fort Wayne based ITT Communication Systems will be without jobs.

The reductions are comprised of 35 workers who accepted buyout packages and 39 whose jobs are being eliminated as a government contract expires.

150 temporary workers are also being released this month.

Not all the news on the job front is bad though as a jobs announcement is expected Monday in Huntington County.

The county's Economic Development Corporation says a startup company has chosen the area for a new manufacturing plant.

The event is being held at the former specialty cartage company location in Huntington.
