Chrysler Reporting 3rd Quarter Earnings Increase

DETROIT (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Chrysler is reporting better than expected earnings for the third quarter of this year.

Monday morning, the automaker said it only lost $84 million during the third quarter compared to $172 million in the second quarter.

Chrysler reports that revenues rose 5.2 percent to $11 billion.

The company credits the new Jeep Grand Cherokee for the boost and has raised its full year financial forecast on the anticipation of continued strong sales.
