UNDATED (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Federal Express is hoping the weather won't prevent a history-making Monday.

Today is expected to be the busiest day in the shipping company's history. With workers prepared to move about 16-million shipments around the world.

That's "double" the daily average of eight million.

The spike's connected to an increase in internet shopping.

Today also kicks off Fed-Ex's busiest "week" of the year.
