FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – A woman's body was discovered in some bushes Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Raymond and Edsall Avenues.

Neighbors say the woman lived about three blocks away in an apartment complex and that she'd been missing for a while.

A man mowing the lawn found her body after he smelled a strong odor coming from the bushes.

21Alive learned Tuesday that the woman had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
