WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) -- A spokesperson with the Whitley County Council On Aging has alerted 21Alive to a scam that is taking place using their organization.

The spokesperson said that someone is calling residents soliciting donations via credit card for the Whitley County Council on Aging in Columbia City. She says that while the organization would gladly accept donations at 710 Opportunity Drive, they request that you do not give out your credit card number over the phone to anyone.
