Violent Man Arrested With BAC of 0.27%

KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv)- An extremely intoxicated man was arrested Saturday evening following an altercation with hospital staff.

According to police, Scott A. Sponable, 66, was fighting with a patient, nurses, and a hospital security guard. Sponable was being hospitalized with a blood alcohol content of 0.27%.

Officials say Sponable allegedly punched the hospital security guard in the face and made verbal threats of violence towards police.

Sponable was cleared by the medical staff for incarceration and he was taken to and incarcerated in the Noble County Jail on preliminary charges of intimidation, battery, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
