Victim Tells Police She Was Held For More Than 24 Hours

VAN WERT, Ohio (21Alive) -- Two people were arrested after a female victim told police she had been abducted and held for more than 24 hours.

Just before 7 a.m. Tuesday, the Van Wert Police Department recieved a call from a victim reporting that she had been held for more than 24 hours before she was able to get away. Van Wert police obtained a search warrant for a home in the 400 block of S. Washington St.

In addition to evidence recovered at the scene, Elmeco R. Crisp, 38, from Lima, Ohio was taken into custody for abduction and felonious assault. James Wilson, 57, lives at the home and was also taken into custody for felonious assault.

The incident remains under investigation.
