CHICAGO, Ill. (www.incnow.tv) -- A warning is in effect through Wednesday afternoon along the shores of Lake Michigan in Chicago.

Beach-goers are getting swept-up in some unusually big waves. Some waves are reportedly up to 10 or 12 feet or higher.

It may look like fun but authorities warn the undertow is dangerous. Cooler air has been blowing down the length of Lake Michigan and churning the water.
