FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Officers with the Fort Wayne Meth Suppression unit took down two separate meth houses within blocks of each other last night.

Mason Arnold, 60, faces meth related charges after police raided his apartment in the 1000 block of St. Mary's Avenue late last night.

Police say they found an active one pot lab and paraphernalia for smoking meth.

Also, officers raided another meth lab just a few blocks away on St. Mary's Ave.

Amanda Lee, 26, and William Smiley, 51, have been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine among other things. Two other people in the home at the time have been charged with visiting a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia.

So far, the meth suppression unit has busted 29 meth labs this year.
