FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Wednesday’s motorcycle accident on Illinois Road turned fatal Thursday morning as 20-year-old Breanna Walker succumbed to her injuries after being thrown from the motorcycle she was riding on.

Police say an SUV pulled out in front of the motorcycle and collided with it near Steak and Shake Wednesday evening just before 5 PM.

20-year-old Alexander Waterman from Churubusco was operating the bike and is still in the hospital in serious condition.

Police don't think the two were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.

The driver of the SUV, 57-year-old Mary Houser of Columbia City had been taken to the hospital to be checked out after the crash.
