Two Arrested In Connection to Lawton Park Brawl

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Two people have been arrested in connection to the brawl that broke out at Lawton Park on Memorial Day this year.

Earlier this week, 21Alive obtained footage of a large fight taking place at Lawton Park, where a young woman could be seen brandishing a firearm before handing it off.

According to Fort Wayne Police, A 16-year-old girl has been charged with possessing a handgun without a permit. The girl can be seen in the video brandishing a firearm and pointing it at a person.

Also, 18-year-old Kevin Jones has been charged with possessing a handgun without a permit. He is the person police believe had the gun handed to him by the girl during the course of the brawl. Police say he also pointed and aimed the gun at people.
