Two Animals Die In Mobile Home Fire (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Two animals were found dead in a mobile home fire.

Police say it happened in the 2700 block of W. Washington Center Rd. at the Ridgebrook Village Mobile Home Park.

Crews arrived Thursday just before 9:30 p.m., to find smoke coming out of the home.

According to police, eight animals were inside. Several crews worked to control the fire and search for the animals.

Two people managed to escape without injury. Animal care and control was called to the scene. The fire was under control in 13 minutes and is under investigation.
