Trolley Crash Injures 15 People (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A trolley crashed into a light post Saturday night sending 15 people to the hospital.

Authorities say none of the injuries were life-threatening. The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. near the 6100 block of Jefferson Blvd. near the Westland Center plaza.

The trolley was carrying 32 passengers and one driver at the time. Passengers of the trolley say they were heading to Belvedere Lounge when the bus crashed into a light post of a shopping center.

“When it hit it was like a domino effect. A lot of people crashed into each other it just went forward a lot of people got hurt,” said Dewayne Woods who was on the trolley.

The driver of the bus passed a field sobriety test administered by police.
