Trial Set For Man Accused In Smokehouse Murder

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A trial date is now set for the Fort Wayne man accused in the fatal shooting at the Smokehouse Tobacco Shop.

The trial will begin on August 9th where Jamel Coleman will face murder, robbery, and firearm charges for the April death of Antonio Nino.

On April 7th, a customer found Nino's body on the floor of the business and called police. Officers arrested Coleman about a week later after receiving a tip that he was on a bus, from Muncie to Indianapolis.
