WATERLOO, Ind. (21Alive) – Three people are arrested for dealing meth and causing a fire with a one-pot meth lab.
Around 11:45 a.m. Friday Waterloo Marshals were investigating a trash fire near an unoccupied house in the 800 block of West Railroad Street.
When an officer approached the home he smelled a meth-like odor, and found 21-year old Allen Michael Johnson and 20-year old Shelby Lee Combs, both of Auburn, inside the house. Later, officers found 46-year old Everett Lynn Furrow of Waterloo in connection to the incident.
Inside the home, an officer found an active one-pot meth lab bubbling, and items used to make meth.
The Waterloo Fire Department came out to the house, and so did the Indiana State Police Clandestine Laboratory Team to properly clean and dispose of the meth trash.
Combs, Furrow and Johnson were all arrested for Dealing in Methamphetamine, a Class B felony.
All are being held in the DeKalb County Jail on $10,000 bonds.
