FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A young Fort Wayne teen was charged with murder and will be tried in adult court.

Police say Omar Ruffin, 16, was with Jaquese Dandrige, 18, the night they were accused of trying to rob a homeowner near the intersection of West Packard and South Wayne.

Court records show the homeowner shot and killed Dandridge in a struggle. Ruffin, who is also charged with attempted armed robbery, was accused of participating in the crime that ended in the death of his friend, leading to the murder charge.
