FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A trial date has been set for a Fort Wayne man accused of murder.

Jury selection will begin August 20, 2013 for 18-year-old Deadrian Boykins.

Boykins is facing murder and robbery charges in connection to two separate incidents.

Police believe Boykins is the gunman in the shooting death of 17-year-old Elijah Freeman in early April.

Officials also have evidence that Boykins was involved in a robbery attempt at "Chosen Christian Beauty and Barber College," a local hair styling school, in December.

According to reports, investigators later found text messages sent by Deadrian showing that he facilitated the robbery, including unlocking the doors to the school.
