Teen Ejected From Car As It Rolls Into Corn Field

DEFIANCE COUNTY, Ohio (21Alive) -- A teen driver from Sherwood, Ohio is in critical condition after a crash on SR 49 near milepost 12 in Defiance County.

Mallory Hugg, 19, was driving a 2004 Cadillac CTS north bound on SR 49 when she ran off the left side of the road and the vehicle rolled several times in to a corn field. Hugg was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.

She was transported to Parkview Hospital by Promedica Life Flight and was last known to be in critical condition.

Cain Person, 16, was a passenger in the vehicle and suffered minor injuries in the crash. He was wearing his seat belt.
