Teen Admits Role In Jimmerson Lake Murder

ANGOLA, Ind. (21Alive) - An Angola teen will spend 15 years in prison for his role in a fatal shooting last July.

Tyler Biggs, 18, of Fremont, pleaded guilty Tuesday to conspiracy to commit murder in the July 7, 2013, shooting death of Ruben Sanchez Jr., 29, on Jimmerson Lake.

A murder charged was dropped as part of the deal. Biggs has earned 331 days of jail credit. He will also have 5 years probation after he serves his sentence.

Mark Hines of Fremont was sentenced in November to 45 years in prison after pleading guilty to Sanchez's murder.
