FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The rain fell apart to our west today, but another shot for an isolated rain shower or thunderstorm will exist through Sunday. Isolated showers are kept in the forecast overnight and into Sunday as temps will rise back into the middle 80s tomorrow afternoon.
Things clear out Sunday evening through Tuesday as some of the warmest air this season will build into the region. Things start heating up on Monday, but remain clear, as mostly sunny skies with a high of 88 is forecasted for Fort Wayne. Highs in some places could top 90 on Tuesday, though we are currently forecasting a high of 89 here in the city. Beyond that a stormy pattern will again take hold, as scattered showers and storms will be possible from Wednesday through Friday.
Things will remain warm to start this period, as we can expect a high of 87 Wednesday and 85 Thursday. Temperatures cool down near the end of this unsettled pattern, as highs are back into the 70s for Friday and next Saturday. We should see an end to the rain to accompany the cooler temperatures starting off next weekend.
