ANGOLA, Ind. (21ALIVE) --- The Steuben County sheriff is shining a spotlight on what he believes is a potential public safety crisis in the county's 911 communications department.
He says about three quarters of the full-time staff have quit, including the director, and that operations are not being conducted in accordance with accepted standards, with non-employees allowed to listen in on emergency calls.
