State Health Insurance Assistance Program To Hold Free Info Session

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) has received more updates about new Medicare changes. SHIP provides free unbiased health insurance information for people with Medicare.

There will be a free information session at the downtown library on Thursday, October 10th from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in meeting rooms B and C. This event is free and open to the public. No reservation is required.

SHIP is not affiliated with any insurance company or agency and does not sell insurance.

The SHIP office will answer questions like:

What does the Affordable Care Act do to my Medicare?

What are my deductibles next year?

What plans are available for next year?
