SPENCERVILLE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – The Indiana Department of Labor cited Timber Line Crating, on Campbell Rd., for 12 violations, including minors without a work permit, hourly violations and hazardous conditions.

The Department of Labor only issued warnings, but penalties up to $400 may be issued for each subsequent violation.

The report cites 12 violations involving seven different children between the ages of 15 and 17. All seven were involved in violations of a minor working without a work permit. Two were involved in hour violations. The business was also cited for “poster not displayed” and the hazardous conditions violation in which a 15-year-old’s arm was amputated while she was running a saw (notcher).
