FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21ALIVE) --- A Fort Wayne Republican leader tries to heal the wounds from the divisive city collective bargaining battle.

The head of the party that ended negotiating power for hundreds of city union members, has put himself in the firestorm.

The staff for the Democratic mayor says Steve Shine is late to the dance.
