September Trial For Gas Station Murder

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - A September trial date is set in the murder of a man outside a Fort Wayne gas station.

David Cocklin, 58, of Fort Wayne, will stand trial on Sept. 30 for the stabbing deah of Raynell White, 30, of Fort Wayne.

Fort Wayne police say Cocklin and White were arguing near the Clark at Wayne Trace & Drexel Avenue when Cocklin stabbed White.

White later died at a hospital. His death was ruled a homicide.
