FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Police in Steuben County are warning residents about a new scam operating in the area.
According to police, there have been several reports of people receiving automated calls claiming to be from Farmers State Bank, saying their debit card has been compromised. Police say that these calls are scams and it is not the bank calling.
They advise residents to call the bank themselves if they have question and never give out any personal information.
