KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) -- Bounty hunters involved in a shooting last month are claiming they were told of the suspects whereabouts by a local reporter, according to FOX28.

Last month, three bounty hunters approached the residence of Gary Helman who was wanted after failing to appear in court. A shootout erupted and Helman wound up dying from gunshot wounds. Now, those bounty hunters are saying they located Helman after receiving information from Stacey "Page" Staley, according to information released in a police report today.

Staley is denying the claims and claims the true story will come out.
