FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Inside Indiana Business posted the following release on their website.

Verbatim: Redwood Living, an investor in Greater Fort Wayne Inc., will celebrate the construction of its new apartment home community, Maplecrest by Redwood, with a ceremonial groundbreaking on Friday, March 21, at 11 a.m. at 5499 Maplecrest Road. Redwood will proudly join the Fort Wayne community and will be joined by local officials, businesses and the general public at the groundbreaking ceremony.

Redwood Living is one of the premier developers of Distinctive Single-Story Apartment Homes in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. Over the next four years, Redwood Living will be adding almost 500 apartment homes, on the basis of four or five communities to the Fort Wayne area. This will create between $35 – 45 million in investment.

Maplecrest by Redwood build and manages unique apartment home communities that consist entirely of single-story units with private attached garages (truly a wintertime plus!) Maplecrest by Redwood features include an open floor plan with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, attached garages, eat-in kitchens with breakfast bars, spacious living rooms, personal patios, full-size washer and dryer connections, walk-in closets, and abundant storage. Maplecrest is also pet friendly and offers great energy efficient construction.

All of Redwood Living's apartment homes earn the Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star designation, gauged according to the industry-recognized HERS index. This means, Redwood Living’s apartment homes are 40 to 45 percent more energy efficient than a home built to current building codes.

Redwood Living, Inc. began more than 20 years ago with a simple goal: give people the apartment homes that they really wanted to call home. As Redwood Living President David Conwill puts it, "Redwood Living is designed for today's better living."
