FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A Vietnam veteran returns home from a "visit" to Vietnam wanting to receive closure from a war that had troubled him for 45 years.

Tim Davis was greeted by more than 100 family members, friends and supporters. Other veterans met Davis with handshakes and hugs.

“Full of emotion”, Davis said it was good to finally find closure.

"I had a lot of buddies that got lost…got killed, and we were really, really close. It meant a lot for me to go back there and see where they actually got killed...and say goodbye to them." Davis said.

Davis was escorted by the sheriff and a group of motorcyclists in an army jeep to Columbia City for a true hometown celebration.
