UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) --- According to ESPN, Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, the man that Deadspin identified as the one behind the Manti Te'o girlfriend hoax, admitted everything to a friend in early December.

In the ESPN story, Tuiasosopo called a friend crying in early December and admitted to what he said started out as a game. He also told her that Manti was not involved at all and that this wasn't the first time he had done this to someone.

The mid-20s women spoke with ESPN's "Outside The Lines" under the condition of anonymity and didn't even allow her voice to be recorded saying she was fearful for her family's safety because of the overwhelming publicity the story has generated.
