Police Search Woods For Car Chase Suspects

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (21Alive) -- An attempted traffic stop in Dekalb County ended in a crash in New Haven, where the suspects fled into a wooded area.

According to initial reports, speeds reached over 100mph during the chase before the vehicle crashed near the intersection of Ryan and Edgerton roads. The one suspect, possibly two, ran off into a nearby wooded area. The K-9 units were called to the scene to help search for the suspects.

Around 4:00 this afternoon, it was reported that police had one suspect in custody. Police are still looking for another suspect.
