Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Law enforcement officers have seized evidence at the home of former-Bishop Luers football coach Matt Lindsay.

The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is investigating whether video clips of children and adults found on Coach Lindsay's work computer constitute a crime.

Wednesday morning it was apparent that the investigation has taken a new turn.

Officers searched Lindsay's home for several hours and took away large brown paper bags filled with potential evidence.

Cpl. Jeremy Tinkel with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department says, “We conducted the investigation. We may have something here. The prosecutor looks at it. The search warrant goes in front of the judge. The judge has to sign off in order for the search warrant to become valid. In this case, the judge did sign off on the search warrant and we did execute the search warrant this morning.”

Detectives hope that what they took from Coach Lindsay's home will help them in their investigation, to see whether a crime has been committed.

Once they've gone through all this new evidence, the case will be turned over to the prosecutor's office to see whether charges should be filed.
