Kendallville, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Police officials in Noble County are taking precautionary measures at East Noble High School after rumors of a threat.

Noble County officials had patrols at the East Noble High School and various schools within the school system. Police insist that these were just harmless rumors, and there's nothing to worry about.

The Noble County police presence is just a precautionary measure.

We're also hearing that a similar situation has taken place at Churubusco Junior-Senior High School, where police were on the scene, after a parent discovered a threat that had been shared on a student's cell phone.

That school went on a code yellow lock down, where people were personally admitted to the building and classrooms remained locked all day.

At the time of this publication, investigators had not been able to trace the source of the threat.
