After the call came in, FWPD officers and detectives immediately began to search the areas near the crime scene. That's when they spotted a man, stopped to speak with him and he took off running. He was eventually arrested behind a home in the 1100 block of Irene Avenue. FWPD have confirmed the man arrested is the same man who is suspected in the Family Video robbery.

Police say the man was able to get away with cash, but it's unknown exactly how much.
