FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive/NBC33) – Day two of the Pet Expo took place out at the Memorial Coliseum, and some familiar faces were there for the fun.

Members of our sister station, NBC33 were out along with Scoop the NBC33 dog.

Sunday featured some great events such as a pet blessing and more trick dog shows. Proceeds from the weekend event go to support the Allen County SPCA.

Jessica Henry, the SPCA’s Executive Director, says over 4,000 people came through the doors for the Pet Expo this weekend.

Call it a market place for pets and their owners as the Pet Expo kicked off at the Memorial Coliseum Saturday.

Informational demonstrations and entertainment were held in the Expo Center with plenty of things to do whether you had two legs or four.

Owners were able to attend free educational sessions or get their pet microchipped. Pets had a chance to walk through a park with fun obstacles and enjoy plenty of treats.

The fun continues Sunday with a pet blessing in the afternoon, and runs from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
