FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- We all know that smoking is bad for you and it has been linked to lung cancer.

And now the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force has recommended certain screenings for people who are at high risk for lung cancer.

Parkview Hospital has taken that recommendation to heart and is now offering Smart-Lung CT, a new low-dose CT scan available to at-risk smokers.

Those interested should call Parkview comprehensive Cancer Center for an appointment.
