One Person In Serious Condition After Crashing Into School Bus

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- One person is in serious condition following a crash involving a Fort Wayne Community Schools bus.

According to initial reports, the crash happened around 10:47 this morning when a green-four-door car and a school bus collided with each other in the intersection of N. Clinton St. and E. State Blvd.

According to witnesses as the scene, the bus went up and over the green car, trapping the driver inside. Emergency personnel had to use the jaws of life to help free the driver of the car from the wreckage.

Investigators are still trying to determine which vehicle ran the red light.

There were no children on the bus at the time of the incident.
