One Man Wounded in Drive-By Shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - One man is hospitalized after a drive-by shooting on the southeast side of Fort Wayne Thursday afternoon. Police say the man was standing next to a parked car in the 2800 block of Drexel Avenue around 4:15 pm, when he was hit by gunfire that came from inside a passing car. The man's condition has varied from serious to critical. Detectives are looking for a dark colored compact car, which was last seen traveling west on Drexel after the shooting. Anyone with information that will help police solve this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP (436-7867.)
