Second Shooting Victim ID'd (Photos)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The Allen County Coroner’s Office has revealed the name of the second victim that was shot Friday night near the intersection of Hanna and Milton Streets.

The coroner’s officer identified the victim as 22-year-old Jeremy J. Walker of Fort Wayne due to injures sustained in the shooting.

Fort Wayne police officers say the shooting occurred Friday night around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Hanna and Milton streets. When officers arrived at the scene they located a green Oldsmobile in the 700 block of Milton Street with two adult males inside. Both victims appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds.

22-year-old Paul Ward III was pronounced dead at the scene and the second victim Walker was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Walker later died from his injuries

Witnesses reported that a male subject was seen exiting the rear of the vehicle and fled northbound on foot.

The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department.
