Noble County Man Dies From Injuries Sustained In Crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A Noble County man has died from injuries sustained in a crash on July 16, according to Indiana State Police.

20-year-old Ben Murray was in the passenger seat of a 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora when the vehicle was struck head on by another vehicle that veered left of center on SR4 in Steuben County.

Indiana State Police tell 21Alive that Murray suffered internal injuries, and died on July 23.

21-year-old Kalib Jackson was the driver of the Oldsmobile suffered a broken leg from the crash. The driver of the other vehicle, 35-year-old Sheila Redman, suffered injuries to her left leg.

Murray graduated from East Noble High School in 2012, and played football, basketball and baseball for the Knights. Jackson was a teammate and classmate of Murray at East Noble, and wrestles at Manchester University.
