FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Now that Indiana's attorney general has joined more than a half-dozen of his counterparts in asking the FDA not to allow the release of a controversial pain killer, Allen County's health commissioner is weighing in.
Zohydro is pure hydrocodone, unlike other painkillers like Vicodin, which also has acetaminophen in it.
As Corinne Rose explains, health leaders are concerned the pure form of the opiod already makes it five to ten times more potent, and carries a high risk for abuse.
