FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – There’s something “new” at the Old Fort.

The Old Fort's blacksmith shop reopened Sunday afternoon, and is now known as the "workshop".

The Old Fort was temporarily shut down due to a fire that happened back in May.

Since then, the facility’s been revamped and an upgraded security system has been installed.

The goal of the rebuilt workshop is to bring in other metal workers to demonstrate their abilities.
