FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - Attendance for the Hotel Fitness Championship was just shy of 29,000 for the entire weeks, tournament officials report.

The tournament saw 28,927 over the course of four days. That's an average of just more than 7,231 per day.

The attendance is a 12.6 percent increase from the 25,700 tournament officials announced for the 2013 Hotel Fitness Championship.

Bud Cauley won the second annual event with a -20 over the four rounds. He beat Colt Knost, who just missed a put to send the tournament into a playoff.

Cauley won $180,000 in the victory. Knost took home $108,000. Both won their PGA TOUR cards for 2015.
