FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- The Shindigz National Soccer Festival returns to Fort Wayne, and this year it is being held at the Fort Wayne Sport Club.

The festival will see a 26 team high school tournament as one of the main attractions but will also have food vendors, live entertainment, and even a beer tent at the Sport Club on 3102 Ardmore Ave. This is first year the festival will be taking place at the sport club.

The festival has become a huge attraction since it started in 2000 , with total attendance expected to be around 10,000 people this year. Along with the 26 team high school tournament, top college teams from around the country such as Ohio State, Michigan State, and the University of Washington will be lacing up their cleats at the festival this year.

Advance discount tickets can now be purchased at Fort Wayne-area Walgreen’s and Connolly’s Do It Best Hardware locations. Tickets can also be purchased on the days of the event at the gate as in years past.
