WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (21Alive) -- The murder trial for a Purdue engineering student accused of killing another student on campus, has been postponed.

The trial for 23-year-old Cody Cousins was scheduled to begin April 22nd. It's not been pushed back to October.

Police say Cousins, of Warsaw, shot and stabbed 21-year-old Andrew Boldt in a classroom full of students in Purdue's Electrical Engineering Building.

Court documents have not cited a possible motive for the killing.
