KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency personnel responded Monday night at 8:27 p.m. to a report of a motorcycle crash on CR 350 N, east of CR 100 E.

First arriving officers located the driver of the motorcycle, identified as Robert C. Moore, 32, Warsaw, lying in a ditch area on the north side of the roadway. Kosciusko County Coroner Michael Wilson pronounced Moore deceased at the scene due to blunt force trauma.

Investigators stated that Moore had been travelling westbound on CR 350 N on his 2006 Honda motorcycle and for an unknown reason had left the south side of the roadway, striking a tree. Moore was thrown across the roadway after impact and located by a passing motorist.

The accident is still under investigation.

Moore was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
