Michigan Man Found In Indiana For Parole Violation (VIDEO)

HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) – A man wanted on parole violation charges from the state of Michigan was arrested early Sunday morning in Huntington County by Indiana State Police after running away during a traffic stop.

Police say James Yeshua Brown, 37, of Lake Orion, Michigan was stopped on I-69 near mile marker 278 for speeding.

Brown then got out of his truck and took off across a field and into the woods.

After about 20 minutes of searching by officers and two K-9 teams, Brown was arrested.

Further investigation revealed that Brown was currently wanted for parole violation in Michigan. He was taken to the Huntington County jail on a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement.
