Michigan City Bar Cited For Multiple Violations

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. (21Alive) -- Reilly's Bar in Michigan City has been cited for multiple violations, according to Indiana State Excise Police. Additionally, 6 people were arrested during last night's investigation on a variety of charges.

Excise Police had been receiving reports of questionable activity at Reilly's bar for over a year and investigated the location early this morning. The bar was cited for:

- Having an unlicensed employee,

- Failing to maintain permit records,

- Sale of alcohol to a minor,

- Allowing a minor to loiter,

- Sale of alcohol to an intoxicated person

- Hindering enforcement of the Alcoholic Beverage Code

In addition to the citations on the bar, six people were arrested on a variety of charges. Three of the six were arrested on outstanding warrants, another was charged with battery on law enforcement, and two underage females were cited for illegal consumption/being in a tavern.
