OAK PARK, Mich. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -- A bizarre scene Tuesday at a broadcast transmitting tower in Oak Park, Michigan.

Police say 23 year old Lasharr Gullap, of Detroit died of traumatic injury due to falling. His family had reported him missing to Detroit Police on March 3rd. He was last seen on February 28th.

Police believe he climbed the 1100 foot high tower and jumped from a higher point-- about 50 feet higher.

Rescue teams from five different cities helped recover the body that dangled from about 1,000 feet.

Broadcast signals were shut down for more than an hour during recovery.
