FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Police are investigating an armed robbery where a man was robbed while trying to buy an iPhone 5 from an ad he saw on Craigslist.

According to police, the victim told them that he met a man at High St. and St. Mary's at 11:30 p.m. to purchase an iPhone 5. When he got to the location to meet the seller, the seller asked him to step around the corner, which was out of sight, and then asked the buyer if he had the money. The victim says he showed the seller the money and that's when the seller pulled a gun and robbed him.

According to police, the alleged craigslist seller also stole the victim's two cell phones along with the wallet and left on foot.

Officers were unable to locate the suspect.
